The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has announced a satellite voter registration for residents of Cebu City from August 1 to 10, 2025, ahead of the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections.
The satellite registration will be held daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Level 4 of Robinsons Galleria Cebu, beside Parking 5 and facing Movie World, according to a notice from the Office of the City Election Officer Ambongan Abilar.
A separate two-day targeted registration for senior citizens and students from public schools and state universities will be conducted on August 2 and 3 at the same venue.
Comelec said the initiative is intended to improve accessibility, accommodate a higher number of registrants, and ease congestion at its main office.
The registration is part of nationwide preparations for the local polls, which will include the election of barangay officials and youth representatives.
The election office advised residents to take advantage of the satellite registration schedule and ensure they meet the eligibility and documentation requirements.
